Prasad and Class Help Guidelines 

Sadhna School: Sadhana of Indian Traditions, Culture and Values

  • Parents, who volunteer to bring prasad, are expected to follow these guidelines.
  • Parent volunteer bring the prasad in a light,simple and presentable (anychina or steel bowl) container.
  • Prasad should be a mixture of raisins(draksh and/or kishmish) and unsalted nuts such as almonds, pecans, walnuts or cashews. (No Peanuts, as it may cause allergic reaction in some children )
  • DO NOT mix salted cocktail mixed nuts, peanuts, macademia nuts, craisins, cranberry, or other dried berries in prasad.
  • After the arti is over, please make sure that everyone gets prasad. In other words, it is your responsibility to give the prasad brought by you and the snack provided by Sadhna school to each individual attending the class.
  • Please arrive 5 minutes before we start the prayers in order to place prasad at the altar.
  • Make sure that you remember to take your container when you leave.
  • If your plans change, and you cannot attend, please inform us by 9 am on Saturday before the class


  •  Parents, who are volunteers for class help, are expected to follow these guidelines.
  •  Please arrive at  the facilty at 9:45 am on the class day to help setup for the class. There are tables that need to be moved

           Sheets to be spread on the carpet to sit on, and it is your responsibility to make sure that the kids stand for Arti in an orderly fashion,

  •   Help in distributing cookies when it is time for kids to leave.
  •   Help in wrapping up and move the tables back  
  •   Please confirm that you are in town and we can count on your help by sending us an email.
